srs light car not shifting gears.

The srs light came on as soon as I started down the road.
The car is running but feels like brakes are on not wanting to move.
I have to press down on gas pretty hard to make car move.
Car is not shifting gears. I can get up to 50mph. I check emergency brakes but it was not on. Regular brakes work fine. As I go down the road if I let off
The gas the starts to slow down like someone is appling the brakes. What could be wrong?

You need to have professional scan tool not a diyer scan tool read your codes.That way you will get every ode from every computer.Let me know the exact code numbers not code descriptions. It will be a letter followed by a four digit number.You may even need a professionals scan tool to diagnose the problem.I would put the car on jack stands and make sure all the wheels are turning freely.
