SRS light on

How do you make the SRS light go out? We have reset the codes I don't know what else to do.

If the light is still on you still have codes stored and there is still a problem. What were the codes you erased? Being a 1990 there can be many faults that will turn on the light but not show up without using a factory scan tool to read the SRS module. Erasing codes only resets the system, however you can easily have a failed part that turns it right back on.
Were any parts replaced?
