SRS light on after dealer (used) said it was seat belt and fixed it. Came on two weeks later. do my airbags still work? paid $5,000.00 for the car.

No, if your air bag light is on it is disabled by the computer. That is for safety reasons you do not want your air bag system working if there is a problem with it.
