My car has a squealing/grinding noise which worsens with acceleration. We have replaced two pulleys and the belt. Also, there is some play in the fan and water pump. Can anyone help please? Thanks in advance.

There was no Daytona model in 1995. Thank you for listing the engine size. Did you mean "Dakota"? If so, you probably found the cause of the noise with the sloppy water pump. When any pulley is able to turn or tip, it causes the belt to walk across it as it goes around it. That will set up a horrendous squeal. To verify that, lightly dribble a little water on the smooth backside of the belt while the noise is occurring. If the noise changes, look for the pulley where the belt is not sitting squarely on it.
