At an idle it doesn’t make a noise. So I replaced the belt, tensioner assembly and pulley, idler pulley, new alternator, new power steering pump and pulley, and the water pump was replaced 5,000 miles ago. Still sounds the same as it did before I replaced all that? What could be the issue?

Can you get a recording of this noise? Clearly a belt squeak is a noise that is pretty distinct but sometimes we can mistake it for some other things.

Best way to confirm it is the drive belt system is to remove the belt and drive the car. Clearly you won't have a long time to drive the vehicle so get it warm and then take the belt off and drive it to see if it still does it.

Let us know what you find. Thanks
