Hello,

We need to see if the problem is belt related, can you remove the belt and then start the engine and rev it to see if the noise is gone please?

Please run this test and get back to us we are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken

I took all the belts off and it still squeals. It sounds like it's coming from the intake or the transmission. I'm having a hard time gaining rpms and getting over 45 mph

Yep, it sounds like the transmission is having a problem. I would try a service first here is a guide that can help you with that.

I have been looking for information on how to change the transmission filter on the 2005 Kia Sedona and all I can find is it's not serviceable. The filter is internal? Is this true and do I have to remove the transmission to change that ?
I can't find any information on it.

Yes some cars you can just drain the fluid becasue the filter is internal and can only be changed by removing the transmission.

After double checking the filter problem I have found they don't have a filter which could mean an internal O ring seal has let go. This mean the transmission will need to be replaced. Sorry.

Please let us know what happens.
