I was driving home from work and randomly the truck starting squealing when I pressed in the clutch. But while I'm driving it's fine. The thing I don't understand is it will squeal the same way sitting still with the clutch fully depressed. What the is the issue?

Hello,

This is usually caused by a failing throw out bearing. This bearing is designed to press against the pressure plate and engage the clutch. I have included a link to a helpful guide for you to go to below.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/clutch-symptoms

Then I have included in the diagrams below, step by step instructions on how to remove and install a new throw out bearing.

Thanks,
Alex
