Hello,

My vehicle just recently started making a squeaking sound and when accelerating it gets worse along with shaking/vibrating. It sounds like it's coming from the rear drivers side but I'm not sure what it is. Would anyone know what this might be?

Hi,

More than likely this is a hub bearing noise or possibly something with the rotor. However, if it only does it when you are actually moving then it is clearly something turning. This limits it to a wheel, hub bearing, axle, or brake rotor.

Normally a bearing makes a grinding rubbing noise but this is not 100% of the time.

The best way to figure this out is to lift the vehicle and manually spin the tire and try to locate the noise.

I attached the process on how to replace the hub in the event I am correct.

Let me know what you find and we can go from there. Thanks
