I am replacing O-2 and knock sensors along with harnesses etc. and want to do spark plugs and wires also. However, I did not know there were round and square ignition coils. How do I determine which I have? Does the VIN help identify that?

Hi,

They should be the round ones. I looked up the OEM part number and attached it in pic 1 for you. Also, picture 2 shows the coil.

If you purchase an aftermarket coil, just cross reference it to GM part number, 10457730.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
