Sputtering when pressing gas?

When I first take off and press the gas the car wants to sputter really badly, if I let off the gas it starts to pick up a little more speed but the more, I press on the gas the more it sputters.

This sounds like a classic ignition system misfire. I would replace the spark plugs, wires cap and rotor. That should fix the problem. This guide can help walk you through the repairs needed:
