For your information: i am using a 5-pin relay.
I'll get straight to the point. I wired my auxiliary lights using a relay like you are supposed to.
I always put the "trigger" wire for the relay to the high beams. This is to have my auxiliary lights come on when i turn on the high beams.
The problem is that when i wired it this way on the Mazda, the auxiliary lights stay on when the high beams are off?
In short:
1. Relay wired to high beam headlights.
2. Auxiliary lights wired to relay(everything grounded correctly of course).
3. When i turn on my high beams my Auxiliary lights turn off.
4. When i turn off my high beams the auxiliary lights come on.
Car listed above is a diesel.
