I ordered a Bluetooth OBD scanner and hooked it up to Torque on my phone because I had a check engine light and wanted to diagnose the problem. The codes are leaning to the o2 sensors. So, I reset the codes that night to see if they same ones came back up. I got in the car the next morning and started driving and noticed that the speedometer was not working, and the odometer was not changing, it was stuck on the same mileage. I have the scanner still hooked up and have been viewing the real time information. It is showing me the car's MPH based off the OBD. What could be the issue?

Does it work with the scanner disconnected? If not, I would replace the VSS (vehicle speed sensor). It could be a coincidence the sensor when out at the same time you scanned it. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what you find.
