Speedometer not working, Already Replaced VSS

Had diagnostics say bad VSS , replaced it, still not working. Check engine light still one, same codes. Had wiring harness checked, fine. All other gauges working. Could the VSS part I got be faulty? Could the connection behind the dash be loose or unconnected? What else should I check?

if your speedo works then it's not the vss. it may be something else have apro check this out as it could be a bad dash

Speedo not working. Check engine light still on after replacing VSS. How do I check if bad gauge cluster, where the speedo gauge is bad? All other gauges (RPM, fuel, temp) working, just no speedo or odometer working.

if it gets a signal and still doesn't work then it's the dash. normally a pro scanner can read that or not
