I bought the vehicle listed above and the guy said the speedometer doesn't work and that he bought a new cluster but hasn't had time to put it in. So, I replaced it and upon doing this I noticed that the speedometer is reading as the tachometer and the tachometer isn't moving and neither is the temperature gage. I put back in the old cluster and it was still reading the RPMs and the speed. Why is it doing this and how can I fix it?

It sounds like you have the incorrect cluster, or the replacement cluster is bad. Can I ask if the wiring has been messed with? Also, I would check the fuses to start, this guide can help:

Also, do you have any codes? This guide can help find out:

Here are the instructions on how to change the cluster out in case you need them. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.

Yes, I think there were 6 codes total 5 being emission codes and one being a p0600. And I believe the wiring has been messed with because there's wires back there that are crimped together. But I checked to make sure all the wires matched, and they do.

Yep, that will do it, here are the cluster wiring diagrams so you can make sure anything is where it is supposed to be. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.
