Thanks in advance. Do yall know how many speed sensors a 2014 mazda 3 has? I think maybe one has gone bad or the wiring to one of them has gone bad. If there is two or more, would just 1 bad one cause no power steering, no speedo, abs brake engine power steering warning lights? I replaced the battery, didn't help. If it aint wiring or sensor, I guess it has to be abs module right?

This would most likely be the module as a sensor is wheel speed sensor will not cause all these issues.

I would suggest however, starting with checking for codes. Here is a guide that will help with doing that:

Once we know the codes we will have a better idea however, I attached below the process on how to replace the module. Let us know what you find and we can go from there. Thanks

I slid on Ice going about 5 mph and hit the front left tire of the car. My car then would veer to the left and had no power steering when exceeded 10 mph. I took it to the shop and had the outer tie rod replaced and alignment fixed, that fixed the veering to the left, but I do not have power steering still. I think the tech at the repair shop said it was a jam in the Rack and Pision (I think thats how you say it). What do you think it is? Please Help Me!

Could the power steering loss be due to anything electrical, like the pump?

I took it to the dealer, they have no idea whats going on counting that I did not tell them about the wreck. They had a service tech out there for 2 days and they cant find anything wrong. The computer showed no errors. They think its the pump so they are ordering it now and suppose to be there by next Wednesday. I hope its not the pump cause then they will probably blame it on my radar and gps for being connected to the fuse box and somehow making the pump go bad, therefore voiding the electrical warranty. So going 5 mph would not end up making the pump go bad right? I sure hope its just a jam in the Rack and Pinion

Have an 06 mazda3 and last night my power steering malfunction light came on and the it became difficult to steer. I shut the car off and back on and it was back to normal for a few minutes then it restarted. It was raining very hard and the splash guard underneath the engine is off

This is most likely a fluid or pump issue with the power steering system.

Here are a number of guides that will help with this issue:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-replace-a-power-steering-pump

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/power-steering-problems

I would suggest starting with flushing the fluid and seeing if this makes a difference. If the fluid is causing this issue then it would make sense that it happens when the fluid gets hot.

If not, I would think we need to replace the pump. Below is the info from the manual on how to replace the pump. Let us know what happens. Thanks
