Trying to change transmission speed sensor out only the top part of the speed sensor came out having trouble getting the bottom part with the gear on it out. What do you suggest to get it out?

Never did one of these, but I have had similar problems with oil dip sticks, wheel speed sensors, and keys. One solution is to drill into the remaining part, then thread in a self-tapping screw to pull on. If you have time to wait, use epoxy to glue the parts back together, then pull it out like normal. That works with ignition keys that broke off in the cylinder, but you need to shove in two pieces of paper first on either side of the stuck part of the key so the glue doesn't adhere to the sides of the slot.
