Back with another issue. Today I had my alternator replaced since my battery light had come on then later drained due to a faulty alternator I had installed back in October 2021. Car drives great now, no battery light present but now my speakers have no sound. My radio works and I switched from CD to AUX to FM, no sound whatsoever. Volume level displays but no sound at all. Maybe a blown fuse, if so which one?

I found the issue but found another problem. It was the #15 fuse for the Premium AMP, it was indeed blown. However, when trying to replace it with another fuse, I’m getting an electric shock coming from the port and it is simply scorching the new fuses. What is the issue?

Okay, you found the blown fuse. Go to the amp and unplug it and see if the short goes away. Very possible the amp just failed internally. If you unplug it a quick way to test and not cost a fuse would be to put a test light across the fuse terminals. If it still lights up with the amp unplugged the wire itself has a short. If it doesn't the amp is the problem as it is the only item that fuse supplies power to.

I will definitely be trying this tomorrow. I appreciate the tips. Should I disconnect the battery or is there any need?

Hope it stays working. Possibly a corroded connection but usually those are not a hard short. I would keep an eye on it. Thanks for the feedback. Let us know if you still have issues.
