The door speakers worked, but I replaced the factory radio a Kenwood kdc230u and everything is hooked up but no sound in door speakers. I hooked up my subs and they work fine vocals are coming from the subs instead of the door speakers.

Most likely you have the Infinity system with the remote amplifier. You either need to bypass the amp, or you have to get the twelve volt power supply to turned it on. Your replacement radio should have a "switched twelve volt" wire, usually blue, for a power antenna or remote amp. Connect that to the truck's dark green/red wire at the end of the black plug.

If you removed a CD/cassette radio, that is the highest-quality radio I have ever worked on. I sell a lot of them for upgrades at old car show swap meets.

Be aware the amp and speakers were matched to tweak the tone response for the shape of the body. The original radio put out much less bass than normal, then it was made up by the amplifier. If you use that amp with a lower-quality radio, you will need to turn the bass way down to sound normal. Unlike with GM and Ford systems, Chrysler's amplifiers never increase volume or power. They are only for tone conditioning, so you can run speakers from your new radio with or without the amplifier.

The amp could be under the passenger's front seat, behind the right kick panel, or behind the left trim panel behind the driver's seat. You would have to cut the eight wires going in, and splice them to the eight wires going out. I can find the wire colors if you want to go through that much work. You might also look at places like Crutchfield online, and Best Buy, to see if they offer a simple plug-in bypass harness.
