Do I have to put specified sparkplugs in my Tahoe? Or can I use ones I bought for my Toyota?

More then likely they will not fit as the thread depth is different for different engines. You don't want to use the wrong plug because if they are too long then the piston can hit the plug. If they are too short then the fuel will not get ignited properly as the spark will not be in the mixture.

Also, if you can provide the part number and company for the plugs you bought for your Toyota then we can check and see if they fit this vehicle. We just need to know if you have the 4.8L or 5.3L.

However, I attached below the documents on how to replace the plugs if you need that as well.
