Hi,
Is there a misfire or anything that leads you to believe there is a problem with the new plugs or wires? Also, have you checked to see if there are vacuum leaks that may have been caused when working on the vehicle?
The first thing I would confirm is that no vacuum hoses are disconnected or damaged. Here is a link you may find helpful:

If you find none, check to see if there are diagnostic trouble codes stored in the computer. This vehicle has an OBD 1 system and it doesn't require a scan tool to retrieve codes. All you will need is a short jumper wire or even a paper clip
Here is a link that explains how it is done:

If you don't feel a misfire, I suspect something was left disconnected by accident. Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.
Take care,
Joe
