Well, first, let me say that one of the spark plugs second one on the right (facing engine) won't screw in it comes out with the coil every time and coil won't mount snug on it like it should. The same cylinder I went to attempt to tap the hole and the tap I had attached fell in the spark plug well. My first issue, the spark plug behind the 2nd/3 I cannot figure out how to remove or what tools to use. On the other side the 3rd spark plug will not come out and I am almost 100% the coil boot is stuck on the outside of it. And when I cranked the engine which I know could have caused damage only knocks once no start. (Btw) I can look into the spark plug well and actually see the tap that fell in it but I'm not sure how to fully remove it.

Hi,

First, we need to get the tap out of the cylinder. Do you have a small mechanic's magnet that you can try to fish the tool out with?

As far as repairs, I would recommend the use of a Heli coil. If you are taping the spark plug hole, the spark plug won't fit when done.

Let me know.

Joe
