Spark Plugs

I cannot afford to buy Iridium Spark Plugs (which is OE), but I need to change them out. How would Copper or Platinum spark plugs affect my car? Also if I use the Copper or Platinum Spark Plugs, would I have to change them more often? If so, how long between changing them?

Performance wise there should not be much difference but where replacement time frame is concerned, you are talking at about 4 to 4 times in between each iridium spark plugs replacement.

Normal spark plugs should last you 12 to 15 k miles wheareas the iridium would last up to 60 k miles. Of course figures are subjective as they are also governed by conditions such as engine condition and driving.
