Auto repair trying to make me switch out week old new plugs that I put in from auto store because they are not AC/delco. Do I have to use AC/delco?

Does the vehicle run well with the new plugs? Why is it in the shop?
This is a highly debated topic actually. My personal experience is that if you do your homework, buy the proper heat range, and gap them properly you can run whatever you want. Some engines are finicky and may not run well with different plugs.
