After having cylinder 4 blow out its spark plug, I drove it to my garage 50 miles where he retreaded the spark plug hole and put in a new plug and coil. Now I am getting a misfire and the technician informs me that I have oil ring damage.

Hi,

If you remove the spark plug, does it appear to be oil-fouled? Also, any blue smoke from the exhaust? Is the misfire only cylinder 4?

Take a look at the picture and let me know if that is what the plug looks like.

Take care,

Joe
