My oil pressure light came on and now it sounds like there's metal ball shaking in my engine and it looks like there's an oil leak underneath on the oil pan. I have no idea what it is if anybody can help, please thanks.

Hi,

Is the motor oil clean and full? Also, if the oil light is on, don't run the engine if it is making noise. It sounds like there is no oil pressure which will cause internal engine failure.

If the oil is full, then we need to confirm it is oil pressure. You will need to get a mechanical oil gauge from a parts store. Most will lend you one. Then, you simply remove your oil pressure sensor from the engine and install the mechanical one. Start the engine and see if there is pressure using that gauge.

I attached a pic of the sensor location.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Joe

Okay, I just change the oil maybe not even two weeks ago. The oil level was already probably in the middle the oil is actually dirty really fast but there is oil in it, and I will go see about getting the oil gauge reader from a parts store and let you know.

Hi,

Let me know if you can get one. Also, when you test it, if it's possible, could you record it and upload it so I can hear the engine?

Let me know.

Take care.

Joe
