2001 Dodge Intrepid oil light will flash when hitting brakes

I'm new to this and a little freaked out about my engine blowing up. I just had an oil change and all kinds of other fluids change done last week. Seems like in 1 week my car, which I bought brandnew back then, has burned all the oil already. The oil light only flashes when I hit the brakes, but only sometimes and not all the time. Has anybody heard of a problem like that. I just checked the oil and its at the minimum again. It doesnt seem like I'm loosing any oil. I'm sure I would find some proof if I had a leak otherwise. A car should not burn that much oil in a week. As long as I don't break the oil light doesnt flash at all. The doesn't make any weird noises or anything. Any ideas what it could be? Of course I'm going to have it checked out asap.

I'm having the exact same problem.

Why would the 2001 Dode Intrepid need a different type of oil to fix the problem when it has used regular oil the entire time, that is, whenever it was taken for an oil change?
