Just bought new car today. Pressed SOS button by mistake and unable to stop the alarm signal. Worried about battery running down overnight. Is there a quick and easy way to reset it?

Your vehicle is still under warranty which should provide free road side service. You should call them and have your vehicle towed to your nearest dealer to address this concern. If the battery runs down they will recharge it for you and if necessary replace the battery for you. If you try to tamper with anything it could void your warranty. But if you really want to save the battery, disconnect the ground wire at the battery and connect it back tomorrow and drive it over to the dealership to have the issue addressed.
