Good morning,
The 128 code is for a thermostat. It is stuck open and needs to be replaced. It has nothing to do with the A/C issue.
Do you have pressure gauges to give me the pressures?
Well, there was another guy on here who had the same issue when you restart my battery the A/C blows cold again.

I think this started a new question. I have a thermostat coming. I hope I find out what is causing it.

Last week my A/C went out with no warning. then a few hours later the p0128 came up on my car. i went to get it checked they said it is'nt really anything to worry about. Then when i reset the battery my A/C works fine then two days it goes out and the same code pops up shortly after.

The 128 code is for the thermostat in the engine. It is stuck open and the engine is not getting up to normal operating temperature.
I need the high and low side readings of the AC system while it is running.
