Rear bumper, some kind of connector?

car was hit in the back while parked, some kind of bracket with an electrical connector was hanging from the rear bumper on the driver's side. What is it?

This looks like the radar sensor in the rear bumper got disconnected. Here is how to remove the rear bumper fascia so you can reconnect it. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.
