The vehicle listed above has a 2.7. Is the torque converter solenoid is located on the inside or outside transmission?

Hi,

The torque converter solenoid is mounted on the valve body inside the transmission. To access it, you need to drain the fluid and remove the pan.

I am using information for a 2wd model. If you have an AWD, let me know.

I attached a pic below showing the location of the solenoid.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

I looked it up for the AWD. It's the same. I reattached it below. To access it, you need to remove the transmission oil pan.

Let me know if I can help.
