Why is there smoke coming from transmission dipstick tube?

I recently installed a new transmission and haven’t added anymore fluid than what I have already due to even running the truck a minute or two I take out the dipstick and it lets out some pressure and smoke comes out.

As long as you don't drive the truck you are okay, it sounds like it is low on fluid and what you are seeing is fluid vapor, start the tuck on level ground and add fluid until full. The problem should go away. Here is a guide to help:

No problem. Please let us know what happens. I was thinking there are electronics inside the transmission but they should blow a fuse before smoke can occur.

I let it run to the operating temperature and filled it to the safe line and she shifted like a dream. Thank you
