whenever I am stepping on my gas to move it takes some seconds before it eventually picks up. I also discovered when I am trying to speed up as I move it also drags before it picks up.

Hi,

First, is the check engine light staying on while the engine is running? Often times when there is a power loss like you described, it is related to a plugged or partially plugged catalytic converter. Take a look through this link and let me know if it seems to mirror what you experience:

Next, and don't laugh, you could have a brake hanging up. After driving, walk around the vehicle to see if there is excessive heat coming off any of the wheels.

Let me know if the light is on, if the converter symptoms in the aforementioned link seems to mirror, or anything you can think of that may help me diagnose the problem.

Take care,
Joe
