Slips in overdrive

three or four times has slipped in overdrive. Free wheels until shifter put in drive position. Then shifts normally through first, second, and drive. Returns to regular overdrive after car turned off. For as little as one or two hours.

have a transmission professional scan for codes on this one especially since you can turn off then back on. it may be a poor connection at transmission or solenoid shot or not holding. You might be showing a check engine light when this happens. if it does then drop to drive and do not turn key off as it may be intermittent.
