So my vehicle's slip light comes on only when I turn left or right. Also it feels like something is rubbing when I turn left or right and it slows down my speed. If I was going 20 it will slow me down to 10 MPH around there. So I have to go real slow around turns and once I am straight it runs fine and the light goes away. Can this be the CVs?

Good morning,

This sounds more like the hub bearing with too much play. When you turn the wheel, the play in the bearing increases the distance of the wheel speed sensor to tone ring distance causing the light to come on and off.

Jack up the front wheels and see if there is any play in the wheel. The wheel sensor is built into the hub and cannot be serviced by itself. I attached the procedure below for you.

That could be from those bearing being worn out and the rotors moving in and out during braking.

Hey Roy. So I change the CV axle and the brake rotors on both sides and it still doing the same thing.I notice wen I have the VDC off it don’t do it at all only when I brake around the turns. If I turn that on them it will do it all the time around turns. So I keep it off an run it like that it’s fine only when I brake around turns.

It is not the axles at all. I stated in my post that the wheel hubs contain the bearings. The end of the axle goes through the hub bearing as in the picture.

It is a shame you replaced them for nothing.

Correct. The splines go into the hub bearing that I suggested.

Sometimes it will only show play under load. That is when the weight of the truck is on it.

Okay, also it have a VDC. So when I turn on it makes that rubbing sounds around every turn I make without pushing the brake. So when I turn it off it does not make any rubbing sounds around the turn unless I push the brakes and then it hold me back until the wheel is straight again. Then goes away and a slip light come on.

Okay, at this point, you need to have the codes checked. There should be a code set for this issue. You can go to a parts store and have them checked for free.

You need a scan tool that can access the traction control system. You have a reader for the engine only.

It sounds like you may have a wheel speed sensor that is out (bearing hub). These videos will help us find the problem:
