Slip differential

How do i find out if my car is a slip differential or not? i am replacing the driver side CV axle.

Get both front wheels off the ground at the same time with the car in park and see if you can rotate one of the wheels. If you can, it is not a limited slip. If you cannot rotate the wheel, it is a limited slip.
