2005 Skoda Octavia DASHBOARD WARNING LIGHT ON

The dashboard warning light came on. The symbol / icon was that of a yellow engine block.
The garage ran a diagnostic, found the error but dosn't know if the error is a faulty sensor or an actual problem.
Could this be connected to the catalytic converter. The reason I ask is that the engine oil was very slightly over the max level for about 2 weeks and the manual says this can damage the catalytic converter

if the car is running good .. have the tech turn off the light .. run the car for a few days to see if the light returns .. it may have been a glitch on the system ..
