What happens is that when I try to ignite the car, the engine cranks but never start. I really don't know what to do with it. I checked the timing belt, the sparks, the fuses I mean all the usual things, but the engine never starts. I really wish you could help me

regards,

Juimy

Is the engine getting a good hot blue spark to the plugs? Is the fuel pump pressure within the manufacturer's specs?

I checked the fuel pump, the gas gushed in the cylender when I try to unscrew it just a bit, but there is a strange white smoke coming underneath the engine. I forgot to tell you just before the engine stops running, it was out of oil because I have a leaking in the oil tank.

The smoke comes from under the engine? Also, if you have fuel and spark to the engine, it should start. Tell me this. If you use starting fluid, will the engine start for a couple seconds?

Yes the smoke comes from under the engine. What do you mean by Starting fluid? Is it that kind of spray, you spray in the pipe that goes to the air filter? If I tried this, the engine sounded like it was starting but did not actually.

You need to spray it into the throttle body.

A rotten egg smell is usually from the catalytic converter. Have you checked to see if the fuel pressure is within the manufacturer's specs? Are you getting spark to the plugs? Is there a chance the timing belt has broken or jumped timing?

Thank you for the hint, I will try to. But what do you think the problem may be? Is there any possibility for the problem to have any link whasoever with the timing chain? Which would mean an engine problem, right? Is the turbo play any role in the engine ignition power?

If the timing belt has broken or skipped time, it won't start. No to the turbo causing this issue. Let me know what happens with the starting fluid and that will help me at least diagnose where the problem is coming from. If you don't want to use the starting fluid, you can check for spark to the plugs and check to see if the fuel pressure is within the manufacturer's specs.

Let me know.

If you have spark and fuel to the engine, it should run. The smell has me a bit confused. Have you tried disconnecting the catalytic converter to see if it will run then?
