I just recently had my brakes and rotors changed, and before that my tire pressure light was on, but I was already having problems with it, skipping in first it just got gradually worse to wear not only does it skipping first, but it will completely go out of here will crank up and rev, but will not go. I have to be on flat ground cut off, the brakes until they tighten and then it catches gear but still really bad.

The first thing I would do is check the transmission fluid level and condition and I would change the fluid if it looked or smells burnt. Here is how.

Automatic Transaxle Fluid

Type .................... Mazda Genuine ATF M-V

This guided can help you check the fluid level.

Also, do you have a check engine light on? If so, it could have a code for the input turbine shaft speed sensor which can cause this issue as well. Here is a guide to help you gather the codes and the sensor location in case you need it.

Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
