Skipping and hesitates

My car listed above SV model has been skipping when driving. It sometimes toggles between 2.5 and 3 RPMs while trying to maintain a speed. Today while driving it felt like it was getting stuck when trying to accelerate past 75 miles per hour. The car has 85,000 miles. Last oil change was at 82,000 miles. I will be getting an oil change next week. Is it the spark plugs as well?

First thing we need to check is if there are any DTCs (engine codes) stored in the computer. If your check engine light is on you definitely have trouble codes stored but even if it isn't on it is still our best first step to tracking down your problem. Here is a link to our tutorial on retrieving your trouble codes:
