Okay, thank you so much for your help! You've given me a starting point. Do I need to do all of this before I even try and start it? I know there hasn't been any gas in it in a long time, so I was just going to check the fluids and put new gas just to see if it starts. Or is that a bad idea??

You need to change all the fluids first and the fuel has to be changed otherwise you can damage components. The fuel is no good at this point as well as the fuel pump.
