Sister used key that said dont use in switch

When she did it would not crank. When we jumped it it popped, now when I cut off it had to be jumped again. And security light stays on.

Try resetting security system otherwise a mechanic will need to scan with his scanner to see what if anything is wrong with security system. See link.
