When I turn right and proceed to straighten out at low speed I get a loud single pop/clunk. It's so violent it sounds like something is breaking. It also happens when starting from a stop with even just a slightly turning the wheel like I'm running over something. It feels like something is loading, then unloading quickly, loudly and violently. But just one single pop, until the next turn, then another single pop. Every time I turn right.

It sounds like one of your CV's are going bad. You can start with a visual check of the boots and see if one is torn. Also you can jack up the front end, turn the wheel to the right and spin the tires with your hands while watching the CV shaft. If the shaft its self jumps or wobbles the CV is no good.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Well, it does sound like you are having an issue in the front suspension components or the 4wd front CV axle. Have you had any recent work done on the front end recently? Is your truck stock height or do you have an aftermarket lift kit installed? Also, Is it possibly you can have a person walk next to your truck and make a video with a cell phone with the sound and upload it here? Have a great 4th holiday and get back to me when you can. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Rough country leveling kit. New wheel hubs. Checked, nothing loose, all torqued to spec. One thing is when it's in neutral, (hold down 2hi/4hi to disengage everything) the wheel will not make a smooth revolution for 360°. There is a catch, I thought it may be my front diff, but all works fine in 4wd.
