Feel like I have a little slack or softer clutch than normal and the rubber bushing inside the tail end of transmission is extended outward that ties to drive shaft. Also, I noticed a black hose with a metal tube with a bracket attached in which is to be bolted or held by a clip and want to know if you're familiar with this and could tell me what's its use? Found it running on top of transmission mission above rear end.

Hi,

The idea that the output shaft at the rear is extended outward is not normal. I'm sure that is why the seal is leaking. However, I'm not familiar with the black hose. Can you take a pic of it and upload it for me to see? The same with the output shaft.

Also, the output shaft isn't attached to the transmission. It should be attached to the transfer case. Please confirm that for me.

Also, let me know if you are hearing any noise or anything out of the ordinary.

Take care,

Joe
