Hi,

Recently I had a problem with the EIS ignition switch is locked not turning, I have changed the EIS, steering wheel column lock and the ECU, its switching on engine idle everything is working properly except the signal lights at first engine running it is okay flashing for one minute and stop flashing after that.

By the way, I have replaced the original ECU the CLK320 W208 with E240 W210 ECU.

Any suggestions to solve this issue?

Thanks,
Ramzi

Can you get a recording of what these lights are doing? I am not sure I understand what happens after the first minute when they are not flashing correctly.

Then when did this start in relation to these parts being replaced? Did this happen immediately after replacing the switch or module?

Hi KASEKENNY1,

Apologize for the late reply, I was busy, last night I brought the car near my house entrance and opened the hood and think about what happened to these signals while everything is fine and okay. I thought about replacing the battery, I know it is very good battery but it is just a thought, the battery replaced and switched on the ignition and tried the signals. It was a dumbfounded that everything is running smooth even the signals working fine.

Anyway, thanks and I really appreciate your help.

Best regards,

Rmzi
