I watched your video in youtube. Com about replacing signal light switch on C-class models. Since the battery has been disconnected, may I know if there were any issues like error codes or malfunctions that may have came out after reconnecting the battery. I hear a lot that once the battery is disconnected and reconnected, there are errors and malfunctions that come out. Please enlighten me. Thanks

Yes, there are a number of things that trigger when the battery is disconnected. All your windows will likely have to be re-initialized. The sunroof also if equipped. Any personalized settings like seats and radio will be lost and the engine and transmission will have to relearn their adaptive strategies.

Thanks for your reply. When you say " the engine and transmission will have to relearn their adaptive strategies", will it affect the performance seriously? How long will be the adaptive period? Is there no way that the SAM be affected as others say? Thanks

You probably won't even notice the relearning. It has more than one SAM but they shouldn't be effected.

I was about to start the project (signal light switch) but something came into my mind. I was thinking that I might lose the radio and I don't know the activation code if in case it requires me to activate the radio. Any help please. Thanks
