Start it up, runs fine for three seconds, shuts off. Start again, runs fine for three seconds, shuts off. Etc. Etc. Etc. What is the cause?

Scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge first. auto parts rent gauge.

Most scanners are inexpensive to purchase, you can purchase one online from sites like Amazon.com
