Be driving and in about fifteen minutes after warms up the gauges will drop to 0 and shuts off until about six hours. Have replaced the computer and and the camshaft sensor.

Hi,

What you described sounds like a bad crankshaft position sensor and not the camshaft sensor. Take a look through this link and let me know if it seems to mirror what you experience:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/symptoms-of-a-bad-crankshaft-sensor

Interestingly, a faulty crankshaft position sensor may not set the check engine light. To confirm this is the issue, when it doesn't restart, you can either check to see if there is ignition spark to the plugs or if you have a live data scan tool, you could check to see if there is an RPM signal.

Here is a link you may find helpful for checking for spark:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-test-an-ignition-system

If there is no spark or no RPM signal, try the crank sensor. Here is a link that shows in general how to replace a crankshaft sensor;

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/crankshaft-angle-sensor-replacement

Here are the directions specific to your vehicle. Note: The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor is located near the outer edge of the flywheel (transmission bell housing).
