My van listed above shut off going down the road and won't start back up. I have changed the coil pack, and the fuel pump last February, the crankshaft position sensor, and the camshaft position sensor and a new battery and battery cable ends. Still won't start. what else can be the reason for no start?

Hi,

Does the engine sound normal when cranking? In other words, does it sound like it is cranking faster than it should or different in any way?

Next, most commonly a crank no start condition is due to the loss of either fuel or ignition spark to the spark plugs. Try this and let me know the results.

See if it will start with starting fluid. If it does and then stalls, we know it is a fuel-related issue. If there is no change, we need to check for spark at the spark plugs.

Here is a link that explains how to check:

Try that and let me know the results. Also, if you could record the engine cranking and upload it for me to hear, it may be very helpful.

Let me know.

Take care,

Joe
