I just installed a new distributor can you set the timing on these kind of distributors? remember the old days you used to be able to set the timing after you put the new distributor in. the car is running great but it seems idling a little fast.

Hello,

No, there is no adjustment for your vehicle's ignition timing. It is entirely control by your vehicle's Power-train Control Module (PCM) or "computer". In the diagrams down below I have included the factory description of the system for your reference.

Thanks,
Alex
