I have recently started noticing noise in low gears and little friction while shifting through low to high. As I recall, the fluid has not been changed before. Should I go for a transmission fluid flush as I am afraid it might do more damage or just let the fluid drain and replace some of it, or just leave it as it is?
As I have started noticing these noises recently, I am wondering if I can stop the transmission from getting any worse. I appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

I would check the fluid and see what condition it is in. Make sure it is not low and pink in color. If it smells burnt then I would go ahead and change it.

Servicing the transmission is never a bad idea. However, there is no service interval for this transmission. You are to inspect the fluid every 60,000 miles and then change it when you need to.
